FOLLOWING Angel Di Maria's dream night against Barcelona in the Champions League his former Real Madrid teammates apparently thanked him.
The Argentine midfielder shone, scoring two goals, as Paris Saint-Germain dispatched Barca 4-0 at the Parc des Princes.
Julian Draxler and Edinson Cavani scored, adding to Di Maria's exquisite free-kick and edge-of-the-box curler.
Di Maria joking told : "My friends in Madrid have already congratulated me."
It's unclear whether or not his former Madrid teammates thanked him, but they will also be on a high after coming back from behind to beat Napoli 3-1.
The Argentine spent four years at the Bernabeu, from 2010-2014, before moving to Manchester United.
What would have made PSG's win even more sweeter for Di Maria is the fact he lost 5-0 to Barca during his time in Spain.
