West Ham will axe flop left-back Arthur Masuaku in the summer after just one season at club

ARTHUR MASUAKU looks as though he'll be leaving West Ham in the summer.
The Hammers are prepared to take a big hit on the £6million misfit who has been frozen out since the 5-1 home loss to Arsenal in December.
The error-prone French defender previously struggled during a dreadful performance in the 4-2 away defeat at West Bromwich in September.

Basically, he's yet to pull up any trees since joining the Hammers from Greek club Olympiacos in August.
Masuaku was brought in as cover for Aaron Cresswell but his future looks bleak because he has only played six times in the Premier League plus a couple of Capital One Cup appearances.
Despite that West Ham co-chairman David Gold has taken to Twitter to reveal that Masuaku is now working his way back from injury, and should be available for selection for next weekend's trip to Watford.

After sending that message, Gold received a tweet from a West Ham fan, who suggested that despite his disappointing display at West Brom, Masuaku is in fact a good player.
Gold responded by agreeing, stating that he's a good player and has potential to get even better once he settles in at the London Stadium and overcomes his recent injury problems.
But manager Slaven Bilic remains unconvinced and is ready to sell the 23-year-old with Olympiacos having first refusal.
But Olympiacos are only willing to pay a fraction of the price they sold Masuaku for.
On-loan Watford full-back Juan Carlos Paredes is seen as a cheaper option and they are looking to tie up a permanent move for the Ecuadorian.
