West Ham plot bargain move for PSG starlet Fode Ballo-Toure with left-back available for free this summer but face serious competition

WEST HAM have entered the race to land Paris Saint-Germain left-back Fode Ballo-Toure.

The highly-rated 20-year-old looks certain to leave the French capital this summer with his contract set to expire.

With Layvin Kurzawa and Lucas Digne already ahead of Fode in the pecking order, the French giants have no plans to extend his current deal.

That has left a queue of Premier League clubs ready to take a punt on the exciting talent.

The Hammers have been scouting Fode after learning of his impressive performances in PSG’s youth side and this season’s UEFA Youth League.

But with the youngster available for nothing, West Ham aren’t the only side gunning for his signature.

And with the Hammers keen to offload flop Arthur Masuaku in the summer after just one season, boss Slaven Bilic could see the bargain signing of Fode a no-brainer.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been in the market to sign a left-back with James Milner currently playing a makeshift role.
