Manchester United should forget about signing Gareth Bale according to club legend Ryan Giggs

RYAN GIGGS admits he doesn't see Real Madrid star Gareth Bale leaving the Bernabeu anytime soon.

The Welsh wizard has been linked with a move back to the Premier League with Giggs' former club Manchester United keen admirers.

But any hope of a Premier League return looks slim according to Giggs.

Speaking to , he said: "He looks happy at Real Madrid. I don't think he's going anywhere at the moment.

"From a fan's point of view, it would be great to see him back in the Premier League.

"The United fans would love to see him at Old Trafford. You talk about the big clubs and United is up there.

"While he's happy there [Madrid], I can't see him leaving."

The 27-year-old is winning the hearts of Madrid supporters after returning from injury with a bang against Espanyol.

88 days after picking up an ankle injury against Sporting Lisbon in November, Bale took just 12 minutes to find the net that sealed a 2-0 win.
