CRYSTAL PALACE fans scored a massive own goal by vandalising their OWN team’s coach.
Palace’s bus was parked at a hotel near Selhurst Park on Friday night and supporters covered it in spray paint, mistakenly thinking it belonged to opponents Middlesbrough.
The hotel is where visiting teams often stay in the area. And it is thought the Eagles players were actually staying there.

Palace’s assistant head groundsman, Dean Waters, tweeted: “£40,000 worth of damage on our coach thinking it was the Boro coach. Nice one! #cpfc”
Waters changed his Twitter settings to hide the message shortly afterwards but it was too late to keep the story from coming out.
An Eagles spokesman said: “The team bus was covered in graffiti with the words ‘Crystal Palace’ overnight on Friday ahead of the game on Saturday. Police have been informed.”
