Ambitious new Billericay owner Glenn Tamplin, whose club has an average crowd of  344, sent fans into a frenzy by tweeting: "#Bigbigbiggun just signed for BTFC."

Tamplin has refused to confirm whether the experienced defender has signed and if he is in line to make his debut at Enfield Town tonight.
