Chelsea had partnered with Adidas since 2006 and the deal was set to run until 2023.

But it has now been cut short as the club sign a new £60m-a-season agreement with Nike.

The jacket gives fans a hint into the shade of blue the home kit is likely to have next season.

And the third kit adopts the black and grey colour scheme of this season's away kit.

But the horizontal stripes are set to be scrapped for a new camouflaged look.

It is also not yet clear whether the badge colours will be adapted to fit with the kit as in recent seasons, or remain blue and white.

Nike had already made inroads into the West London club before the kit deal was signed, sponsoring Eden Hazard and Willian.

Adidas are being forced onto the back foot as far as next season's kit sponsorship deals are concerned.

Not only have they lost the rights to Chelsea's merchandise, they are being pushed all the way by Under Armour as they attempt to continue their agreement with Real Madrid.

The American brand are rumoured to have offered the Galacticos £127m for a kit sponsorhip deal from next season.
