Gareth Bale looked like he had condemned Real Madrid to shock defeat, but Ronaldo was the saviour

REAL MADRID produced another incredible comeback to draw with Las Palmas despite playing the whole second half with ten men.
Three days after coming from 2-0 down to beat Villarreal 3-2, Zinedine Zidane's side had their backs to the wall again thanks to a moment of madness from Gareth Bale.
Isco put Zinedine Zidane's side in front when he beat the offside trap and slotted home a cool finish on 8 minutes.
But Las Palmas had no intention of coming to the Bernabeu to be the punching bag Sporting Gijon were at Barcelona earlier in the evening.
Just a minute after Isco's goal, the Canary Islanders were level.
It is rare to ever see an attacker beat Sergio Ramos as easily as Tana did when he received the ball on the edge of the area.
With his back to goal, the striker turned and beat the Galacticos captain for pace to fire in his first goal since September, when he also scored against Real Madrid.
Los Blancos had waited three months for Gareth Bale's return from an ankle injury but it was the Welsh star who ultimately lost his team two points with a moment of madness.
He was shown two yellow cards inside ten seconds for, first, tripping and then pushing Las Palmas' Jonathan Viera.
And things got worse on 55 minutes when Las Palmas were awarded a penalty for a deliberate handball by Ramos.
Striker Viera chipped down the middle and Keylor Navas was unlucky as the ball rebounded of his foot and into the goal.
Three minutes later former Tottenham and Portsmouth midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng made it 3-1 when he beat Navas to a long ball and tapped into an empty net.
Real Madrid could have easily been 5-1 down before they got their act together as Navas was forced to make a string of saves from Las Palmas counter-attacks.
With four minutes left, hope was restored when the European champions were given a penalty of their own for a handball, which Ronaldo convincingly slotted into the top corner.
And in the 89th minute, the four-time Ballon d'Or winner spared some of Gareth Bale's blushes when he headed home from a corner to earn a share of the spoils.
But the draw is not enough to prevent Barcelona topping the league by a point.
