MESUT Ozil has sensationally blamed his father, Mustafa, for his Real Madrid exit in 2013.
The German star has revealed that contract negotiations led by his father, culminated in the souring of the relationship with himself and Real President Florentino Perez.
The German allowed his father to conduct contract negotiations with Perez, but writing in his new book, 'The Magic of the Game' it didn't go to plan.

and speaking in his new book,, the German said, "My father didn't know that negotiation pressure. But it's just normal to have different points of view at the beginning of negotiations."
It transpired that Mustafa, Ozil's father didn't have the experience of a seasoned agent when negotiating with Perez.
Ozil went onto say: "He hadn't negotiated a lot with the biggest club bosses and so he lacked serenity to deal with that provoking offer from Real Madrid in an appropriate way."
The final straw for Ozil's relationship with Perez, was this: "My father slammed the door of Perez's business room and I risked to sit in the stands."

With his future in tatters and his relationship with Perez all but over, Ozil set about finding a new club - and Arsenal and Arsene Wenger fitted the bill.
"I had to do something for my career. I called Arsene Wenger - as I promised to contact him first when there was the chance to look for another club. And there it was."
A move to Arsenal followed, as did the dismissal of his father as the midfielder's agent.
