Jan Vertonghen’s five-second, three-word interview must be the fastest ever – and social media is just as quick to react
Spurs defender showed more pace off the field than he ever has on it to race through post-match duties after 3-2 win v Everton

JAN VERTONGHEN showed more speed off the field than he ever has on it - by rattling off a five-second interview for SPURS TV.
And social media users were just as quick to respond after the Tottenham defender's three-word analysis of an impressive 3-2 win against Everton.
Vertonghen's interviewer spends more time introducing the exchange than the Belgium star does in replying.

The correspondent opens by saying: "OK, Jan's in a hurry so it's going to be a very quick interview.
"Jan, what did you think of the game today?"
Vertonghem replies: "Yeah, very good."
To which the interviewer responds: "Thank you very much" - as the powerful centre-back strides away.
Tottenham tweeted out the video - full and uncut - with a hint of an understatement: "Jan Vertonghen was in a bit of hurry during his post-match interview today..."
(((Don_THFC))) @dnannery tweeted: "If he could turn quicker than that interview we wouldn't have conceded the first goal."
And Vertonghen's own post-match tweet was just as long - or as short - as his club interview.
He posted: "nice win today #COYS".
Tottenham are seven points behind leaders Chelsea but one point clear of third-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand.
