Irons fans struggled to come to terms with saying goodbye to Upton Park as they waved away unforgettable memories as they moved into the stadium built for the Olympics.

Supporters were not the only people who found the transition hard, with the players also underperforming in their new stadium.

Shortly after their move, fans found it difficult to bring their atmosphere from Upton Park into their new home.

The crowd trouble went much further than just a lack of atmosphere, as police and stewards failed to control supporters on numerous occasions.

The issues have seen a fan reportedly have his head cut open after a coin was thrown at him and various outbreaks of violence.
