Pires added that Laurent Koscielny went after Sanchez to speak with him after his walk-out.
Rumours continue to mount that Sanchez will leave Arsenal in the summer, as he is desperate to win major trophies.
And with Arsenal now down in fifth in the Premier League, six points behind fierce rivals Spurs who sit second, the Chilean may decide the time is right to seek pastures new.
SunSport reported earlier today how Arsenal will block Alexis Sanchez from signing for any other Premier League side – after being left red-faced following the sale of Robin van Persie.
Sanchez is heading for the exit at the Emirates after a huge bust-up over the direction the club is headed.
despite interest from Manchester City and Chelsea in the former Barcelona ace, the Gunners will play hard ball and bar him from signing for any other side in England.
The last time Arsenal saw their best player leave was when Van Persie forced a move to Manchester United – and the Dutchman was instrumental in firing Sir Alex Ferguson’s side to the title the following season.
That left Arsenal open to criticism from their own supporters who accused them of lacking ambition, and the London club now want to avoid a repeat scenario.
