The scenes at the Nou Camp were simply astonishing, with fans bursting into tears, singing and celebrating long after the final whistle.
The Catalan club's supporters refused to call it a night though, even after leaving the stadium, as they waited patiently - still delirious with joy - to catch a glimpse of the players as they headed home.

Argentine beauty Roccuzzo filmed the whole thing as fans, eager to catch a glimpse of their hero, pressed up against the window, singing and dancing like they'd already won the trophy.
She shared the footage via her Instagram page, only able to utter the words 'oh my god' at the spectacular scenes.

Security can be seen frantically scrambling to clear a path for Messi's car, but the understandably excitable fans easily outnumbered them.
Many fans were happy to take a picture from a distance... while others pressed right up against the window in order to get the perfect shot of the man of the hour.
While Roccuzzo only captured 30 seconds of footage, it's fair to assume the Barca faithful continued their buoyant celebrations and chants of 'Messi, Messi, Messi' long into the night.

In thrilling video footage, the normally ice-cool Messi can't contain his emotions after Roberto's goal. He ditches his team-mates, jumps onto an advertising hoarding and celebrates with screaming Barca fans.
Bashing the club badge on his chest, Messi - who took the captain's armband once Andrea Iniesta had been subbed - eventually climbs down.
He is then hugged by a pitch invader, who is tackled by security. Finally, Messi runs over to Neymar and hugs the Brazilian hero in front of emotional supporters.
Earlier in the evening, Barcelona had taken an early 1-0 lead thanks to Luis Suarez in their quest to reach the quarter-finals.
