Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard being chased by both Chelsea and Arsenal
ANTONIO CONTE will battle Arsenal to land Manchester United star Jesse Lingard.
The Chelsea boss, whose side face United in tomorrow night’s FA Cup clash, is keen to make a summer bid for the England man.
Lingard is regarded as being able to play both as a wing-back AND as a forward in Conte’s 3-4-3 formation.
He has one season left on his deal at Old Trafford and the top clubs are ready to swoop as one of the Three Lions’ young prospects comes on to the market.
England boss Gareth Southgate started Lingard, 24, in his first two World Cup qualifiers and also played him in the draw against Spain in a friendly.

He scored the winner in last season’s FA Cup final and also netted in last month’s EFL Cup showpiece — but a new deal has not been thrashed out at United.
Boss Jose Mourinho is aware that Lingard could leave for free at the end of next season.
Arsenal have been tracking his progress but will now face stiff competition from Chelsea.
