LUKE SHAW'S Manchester United future hit a new low when he was left out of the squad to face Chelsea... despite travelling with the rest of the team.
The England left-back joined his team-mates in London but failed to make the substitute bench as Jose Mourinho opted to start Matteo Darmian on the left side of defence.
The £27million man has started just seven league games this season and was recently left out of the squad for United's Europa League draw with Russian side FC Rostov.

And serious question marks are now raised as to whether the ex-Southampton starlet can convince Mourinho that his future belongs at Old Trafford.
Shaw came back into the starting XI for Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Bournemouth in their last league outing but was hooked off after 70 minutes.
The Portuguese boss has made it no secret that Shaw is behind his team-mates in the pecking order and must take inspiration from Henrikh Mkhitaryan who has forced his way into Mourinho's plans.

But after suffering a horrific broken leg last ruling him out of most of last season, Shaw is desperate to prove a point and make up for lost time on the pitch.
And he will also remain concerned that his lack of playing minutes could seriously hamper his chances of making Gareth Southgate's England squad ahead of upcoming fixtures against Germany and Lithuania.
