He was recalled to the first-team squad before making a first appearance of the season in a 4-1 EFL Cup win over West Ham.

Schweini has gone on to feature in 4-0 FA Cup victories over Reading and Wigan - scoring in the latter - before making a brief outing against St-Etienne in the Europa League last month.
