BARCELONA are ahead of three Premier League heavyweights in the race to sign Portuguese wonderkid, Pedro Neto, according to reports in Catalonia.

Manager of the Catalan side’s B team, Pep Segura, has made the Portugal starlet his No.1 priority in the summer.
Barcelona had been keeping an eye on him for some time, but his impressive performances this campaign — which have yielded 16 goals in 21 appearances — have attracted interest from elsewhere and means they may have to act fast.
Neto is currently with the Portugal Under-17 team, for their European Championship qualifier against Spain this evening.
And he is already an important member of the squad, having netted on his debut against Greece.
Should Barcelona want to sign him, they would only need to pay Braga compensation for the star.
He would spend a year in the famed La Masia, before becoming a potential first team player.
Neto is a central midfielder with electrifying pace, who has extremely good decision-making for such a young player.
