Reports suggest the Blues are ready to break the bank to resign their former striker and the England international
CHELSEA are eyeing up a £100million double swoop for Everton pair Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley, according to reports.
Lukaku has told the Toffees he will not extend his current contract with the club as he looks for Champions League football.
The Blues are favourite to land Lukaku, 23, but the are reporting that the west London club are ready to rival Tottenham for England international Barkley as well.
Everton have slapped a £65million price-tag on their Belgian hitman who looked certain to sign a contract extension.
On Tuesday Lukaku stunned Goodison chiefs, when he told them he would not sign the five-year contract extension Toffees top brass thought was all but agreed.
But the former Anderlecht striker revealed the clubs lack of ambition has made him want to quit the club and look for a new challenge.
Chelsea - who sold Lukaku to Everton back in 2014 - are favourites to land the attacker who has one year left on his current contract.
Barkley, 23, has seen a resurgence in form that has made clubs like Spurs rekindle their interest in the midfielder.
