Vinicius Junior wanted by Real Madrid and Barcelona with Spanish giants set to go to war over next Brazilian wonderkid

BARCELONA and Real Madrid are set for a tug-of-war over Samba sensation Vinicius Junior.

The 16-year-old is tearing it up in the South American Under-17 championship and is the tournament's top scorer.

And, according to , scouts from both Spanish giants are at the Chile showpiece to take a closer look at him in Vinicius.

Vinicius stood out at the Copa Sao Paulo youth tournament, which has showcased the likes of Neymar, Oscar, Marquinhos, Casemiro, Lucas Moura, Ganso and Danilo in the past.

He burst onto the scene by opening the scoring in a 'Classico' against Botafogo, during the Rio de Janeiro junior Cup in October last year.

And he has fired in five goals so far in Brazil's first seven games of the tournament, including a double in their previous match against Ecuador.
