THE first-half of Saturday's clash between Sunderland and Burnley was, for a lack of a better word, dull.

However the high levels of tedium were too much to bear for one in the stands as they took advantage of the prolonged dour patch to grab a little snooze.
In fact, that person was the wife of Sunderland owner Ellis Short, who was spotted by a couple of eagle-eyed spectators having a kip in the stands.
Given that Short was only attending his second game of the year, you'd expect all eyes to be on the pitch... not the insides of the eyelids.
Sunderland fans are running out of patience with Short, with a number of fans venting their frustration online.
It's easy to see why too, as after years of performing one great escape after another, they look dead certs to be relegated this term.
The Black Cats currently sit 20th in the Premier League with just 19 points from their 27 games going into the game with Burnley - six points adrift of 17th-placed Crystal Palace.
