Laughing matter

Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben throws huge strop after being substituted… and all his teammates do is LAUGH at him

Dutchman was furious to come off the field but his reaction sparked hilarity amongst team-mates

BAYERN MUNICH ace Arjen Robben was left furious by boss Carlo Ancelotti after being substituted in the club's 1-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach.

But his team-mates found the funny side as they couldn't contain their laughter on the bench at the Dutchman's petulant strop.

And the best was yet to come as the camera panned to Xabi Alonso and Rafinha sitting on the bench.

The duo were cracking up as Robben sat down before Alonso gave him a reassuring tap on the leg, still with a grin on his face.

Their laughing was contagious as Jerome Boateng and Franck Ribery, sitting on the other side of Robben, couldn't help but get in on the joke.

Ribery grabs hold of Boateng as he bursts into laughter whilst Robben fails to find the funny side.

The 33-year-old was angered at his own performance rather than the manager's choice to hook him off before the full-time whistle.

Robben missed a clear cut chance during the victory and was also frustrated when Robert Lewandowski laid the ball off to Thomas Muller instead of him for the opening goal.

The victory left Bayern 13 points clear of RB Leipzig at the summit of the Bundesliga as they close in on their fifth league title in a row.
