Ex-Aston Villa stars Nigel Reo-Coker and Luke Moore are training with Norwegian minnows Lillestrom

Duo have been without a club since leaving the MLS over a year ago

FORMER Aston Villa duo Nigel Reo-Coker and Luke Moore are set to be reunited at Norwegian side Lillestrom.

The pair have been without clubs since the start of the 2016 Major League Soccer season but are training with Lillestrom in the hope of securing a contract.

They were team-mates briefly during the 2007/08 season with the Villians before Moore opted to join Midland rivals West Brom.

Moore, who has since played in Turkey before joining Chivas and then Toronto FC, is eager to get back into the game after leaving the MLS side in February 2016.

Reo-Coker's last spell of action came at Montreal Impact 14 months ago where he played 27 times.

And Lillestrom are keen to see whether there is life still in the legs of the duo who have a combined age of 63.

Speaking of their trials, boss Arne Erlandsen told Norwegian newspaper VG: "It will be interesting to see what kind of condition they are in.

"Now we get to see the players in training. Time will tell how long they stay here."
