Marco Verratti: Chelsea and Manchester United target’s agent admits Paris Saint-Germain star could be on the move
Italian is also wanted by Barcelona and his representative claims a choice has to be made between money and trophies
MARCO VERRATTI could leave Paris Saint-Germain for a ‘top European club’ this summer.
That’s according to agent Donato Di Campli, who believes his client must decide between ‘earning a lot without winning anything or lifting trophies.’
Verratti’s future at the Parc des Princes is uncertain following a strange season in the French capital during Unai Emery’s debut campaign.
PSG trail Monaco in the league table despite storming to the title the last four years in a row, while they crashed out of Europe 6-5 on aggregate to Barcelona after winning the first leg 4-0.
Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in bringing Verratti to the Premier League, while Barca are looking at him as a replacement for the ageing Andres Iniesta.
And it appears the midfielder could soon be on his way out following the latest outburst from his representative.
Di Campli told Gazzetta dello Sport: “Marco wants to win and at PSG just now he cannot. He has been in Paris for five years and now has to make up his mind.

“Does he want to earn a lot [of money] without winning anything or lift trophies and become a champion?
“The situation is very complicated, particularly because his contract is long. This is not a money problem. One thing is for certain: if he leaves PSG, it will be for a top European club.”
