Phil Jones arrives at Manchester United training with Wayne Rooney after ‘breaking toe on England duty’
Red Devils duo both miss out on international duty as they drive into the Carrington training complex
MANCHESTER UNITED defender Phil Jones will be keeping Wayne Rooney company during the international break at Carrington.
The defender was injured by his club teammate Chris Smalling whilst training with the Three Lions and had to be withdrawn from the squad.
The 25-year-old is still waiting to hear the extent of his injury as he was driven in a Mercedes by his fiancée Kaya Hall.

Whilst Jones is waiting on scans and x-rays, he will be able to spend time with Rooney at the club's training ground.
The United star was snubbed by Gareth Southgate for the latest England squad, meaning he will be spending the two-week break at home.
Rooney is also on the treatment table alongside superstar Paul Pogba and Daley Blind as the trio aim to get back fit to face West Brom on April 1st.

Anthony Martial is also staying in Manchester after he was ignored for a call up by France boss Didier Deschamps.
Speaking on Jones' injury, Southgate said it was just a normal tackle which injured the United defender.
He said: "It was just a tackle, a nothing sort of thing really. It's very unfortunate for him and a huge disappointment because he has been playing very well and has had some injury difficulties in the past.
"Hopefully it is not too serious, but it needs to be checked out."
