Which league do Billericay Town play in?
Essex outfit Billericay Town currently ply their trade in the Isthmian League Premier Division - the seventh tier of English football.
The league ranks below the Football League, Conference National and Conference North-South.
The seventh tier comprises of 22 teams in both the Isthmian League and Southern Football League Premier Division as well as the 21-team Northern Premier League Premier Division.
Who owns the club?
Billericay Town is owned by Glenn Tamplin.
The ambitious new owner, 44, took over from Steve Kent in December 2016, determined to turn the Essex outfit into a non-league force.
On taking over the club, Tamplin promised to pump up to £10,000-a-week into the club, saying:“£5,000 a week isn’t a lot to me but it will be in 10 years’ time if I have put a £1million in..."
Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright has just purchased a 20 per cent stake in the club and Jamie O'Hara has claimed he could make an appearance on the pitch.
Who are Billericay Town's big-name players?
Not one, but two former Prem stars are currently on Billericay's books.
Ex-Tottenham and Fulham star O'Hara, 30, has signed for the seventh-tier side after his stint in Celebrity Big Brother.
He said: "When I came out of Big Brother, I had to be realistic about where I was going to play.
"I was worried the fact that I did Big Brother and with my injuries in the past whether I'd get back.
"I wasn't getting a call (from league clubs) and this gives me a chance. I've committed to the end of next season."
In February, SunSport reported the non-league football outfit had swooped to sign former Liverpool and Fulham full-back Paul Konchesky.
The 35-year-old joined after a stint at Gillingham and was the first 'marquee' signing under Tamplin's ambitious tenure.
Meanwhile Britt Assombalomba's brother Christian is on the books at Billericay Town, along with former Ipswich Town man Byron Lawrence, ex-Brentford stopper Alan Julian and former QPR and Leicester striker Ricky Sappleton.
Why are Billericay Town in the news at the moment?
First there was the takeover of Tamplin, then the Konchesky signing and now it would appear former The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright is set to take over as director.
We reported Wright will buy 20 per cent of the club. The ex-Towie star also regularly turns out for England in Soccer Aid.
