TOTTENHAM boss Mauricio Pochettino enjoyed dinner in Barcelona this week with Nou Camp president Josep Maria Bartomeu.

The Argentine has been linked with the soon-to-be vacant position at the La Liga giants – and his lunch date will not have helped rumours of him being lined-up to replace Luis Enrique.

However, before Spurs supporters get too worried, it should be noted that Poch still has a house in the city after his days at Espanyol.

Barcelona’s president Bartomeu is staying well clear of speculation on who he wants to replace the club’s former midfielder at the end of the season.

A number of bookies have the 45-year-old Pochettino as one of the favourites for the role following his success at Spurs.

They were Leicester’s strongest challengers for the Premier League title last season, despite finishing third.

The north London side are performing equally as impressively this campaign.

His side are currently second in the league and look bang on course to qualify for the Champions League for the second successive year.

But officials at White Hart Lane are confident that Pochettino remains committed to them for the long-haul.
