In the latter years of his career, Ronaldinho admitted he had always dreamt of being a singer.
He has previously featured in a number of Brazilian rap videos, as well as the official Rio Paralympics song last year.
But this track is his first as a solo artist.
Even during his Barcelona days, the midfield genius tended to return to his homeland in the middle of the season to attend Carnaval.
And he was back in Rio last month to promote new competition vests at the celebration he just refuses to miss.

The vests had lyrics from a song Ronaldinho recorded with pop star Wesley Safadao written on them, which said: “Let’s drink, now that I’m single again.”
Six weeks ago, he was appointed as a global ambassador for Barcelona, and recently made a trip to China on behalf of the club.
While there he opened a football school in Haiko that will have capacity for 1,000 children, as well as visiting Hong Kong.
