Denis Suarez set to stay at Barcelona as agent denies he will join Napoli

DENIS SUAREZ is ready to stay and fight for a Barcelona place after his agent rubbished links with Napoli.

The Spain midfielder has mainly been a stand-in since returning to the Camp Nou last summer but has still played 32 games.

Speculation over the 23-year-old's future has soared as Barca have been linked to Real Madrid's Isco.

But Suarez's agent Felix Grande told Italy's :  "We have had no contact, from Napoli or any other club."

Suarez was an outstanding playmaker on loan at Sevilla two seasons ago and with Villarreal last season.

But he has struggled to make at impact at Barca this term.

And fellow Spanish international Isco, 24 is seen as a possible replacement.

Former Malaga star Isco hit Real's 100th goal of the season in their 3–1 win at Osasuna last month.
