Morata has played second fiddle to Karim Benzema since returning from Juve at the end of last season.
And with the 24-year-old is struggling to nail down a starting role in Zinedine Zidane's starting XI and Conte sees it as a good opportunity to land the forward.
The Blues boss was behind the move to bring Morata to Juventus but the striker arrived just days after Conte resigned from The Old Lady.
The striker signed a five-year deal at the Juventus Stadium but Conte had already departed after being offered the dream job to manage Italy.
And with Diego Costa's future being uncertain, following heavy interest from China, Conte will move in for the powerful forward.
So far this season Morata has made 13 starts and 18 appearances as a substitute for his boyhood club this term, netting 13 goals.
