REPUBLIC OF IRELAND defender John O'Shea has launched a scathing attack on Wales star Gareth Bale - following Friday's ill-tempered World Cup qualifier in Dublin.
O’Shea let rip on the Real Madrid superstar, after he was on the receiving end of a dangerous high tackle at the start of the second half.
Bale was fortunate to only be booked - O'Shea played on, but his wound needed several stitches which rules him out of Tuesday's friendly with Iceland.

O’Shea, who his 117th cap on Friday was livid when shown a replay of the tackle after the 0-0 draw at the Aviva Stadium.
The Sunderland defender said:“There is no problem getting a hard tackle but when people are very late, and stuff like that, it is a different story.
“When I saw it back, yes, I was a little bit annoyed. It was one of ‘them’. Thankfully I am walking away from it. So no problem.”
Meanwhile, Everton boss Ronald Koeman offered words of support to injured defender Seamus Coleman.
FAI chiefs confirmed he suffered a couple fracture of his right leg in his shock clash with Wales defender Neil Taylor on Friday night.
“He is a really strong character and he has a great family around him and we, his extended family at Everton, will be here for him to help him get through this over the coming days, weeks and months," stated Koeman.
