MANCHESTER CITY have been hit with a fine from the FA after failing to control their players against Liverpool before the international break.
Pep Guardiola's side drew 1-1 in an enthralling game but they have been punished for their actions when Michael Oliver awarded a penalty.
The referee awarded a penalty for a foul from Gael Clichy on Roberto Firmino, which was tucked away by James Milner.

But City's stars surrounded the official as Yaya Toure and David Silva began the protests, before being joined by Fernandinho, Nicolas Otamendi and Sergio Aguero.
Clichy and Silva were both booked after Oliver had pointed to the spot.

City were recently fined £15,573 by Uefa for incidents relating to their first leg Champions League tie against Monaco.
Europe's governing body said the fine related to a pitch invasion, objects being thrown and a late kick off.
Guardiola's side eventually crashed out of the tournament in the last 16 after winning the first tie 5-3, before losing 3-1 in the second leg away from home.
