NICKLAS BENDTNER won silverware on his Rosenborg debut - as he came off the bench to bag an assist and the Norway Super Cup.
The ex-Nottingham Forest and Arsenal striker was delighted by the 2-0 defeat of Brann.
And now the Denmark star is keen for Rosenborg to retain their league title.

Bendtner, 29, told Norway's after his half-hour cameo: "It was good to get an assist at the end.
"We were a bit under pressure, but we did what we had to do and punished them.
"It was good to start the season with a win."
Bendtner, a Serie A winner with Juventus, won the DFB Pokal and DFL Supercup with Wolfsburg.
And he must hope he can put his indifferent spells in England further behind when the Norway League starts on Sunday at home to Odd.
