Dortmund striker completed his hat-trick of mask goal celebrations after his strike in the draw at Schalke and has taken to social media to defend himself
BORUSSIA DORTMUND striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has defended his eccentric goal celebration against Schalke on Saturday.
The Gabonese hitman bagged his 31st goal of the season – his 24th in the Bundesliga, against rivals Schalke in the 1-1 draw in Gelsenkirchen.
The 27-year-old had previously donned Batman and Spiderman masks, and completed the trilogy in the second half when he opened the scoring.

His new supervillain number which looked to have been custom made by his kit sponsor Nike was unleashed, much to the anger of the home crowd at the Veltins-Arean
Dormtund coach Thomas Tuchel was asked if his striker's celebration was arrogant, an accusation Aubameyeng took issue with on social media.
He posted on Instagram:"Me arrogant? Come on guys this is the way i live!! this is my world im like a kid who enjoy to play football (sad about the result) but we keep going #bvb #smileyface #aubameyang #pea17 #Maskedfinisher thanks @sk23.10”.

Tuchel responded saying: “I think it’s hypocritical to make this out to be an arrogant gesture.”
Meanwhile, Robert Lewandowski scored hat-trick for Bayern Munich who thrashed Augsburg 6-0 at home, to stay 13 points clear of Red Bull Liepzig who brushed aside bottom side Darmstadt 4-0.
