Saints will hope that Manolo Gabbiadini is fit to return after limping off in the defeat to Spurs.
Scott Dann is unlikely to feature for Palace, having been carried off in the victory over Chelsea, while Fellow defender James Tomkins departed at half-time and is another player struggling.
Midfielders James McCarthy and Mathieu Flamini are major doubts.
