Arsenal stars Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud being lined up in £85m summer spending spree by Marseille
Gunners pair among a number of targets for Ligue 1 with billionaire Frank McCourt now in charge
MARSEILLE are lining up an £85million spending spree in the summer - and want two Arsenal players, according to reports in France.
The Ligue 1 club were taken over by American billionaire Frank McCourt earlier this season and he is keen to make a big splash when the transfer window reopens.
Marseille already made two big moves in January, luring Dimitri Payet back from West Ham and signing Patrice Evra from Juventus.
According to French newspaper L'Equipe, Gunners pair Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny are at the top of their shopping list.
Giroud has been in and out of the team this season with many Arsenal fans split over his true ability.
But losing Koscielny would be massive blow.
The French international, 31, has been Arsene Wenger's most consistent defender over the last few seasons and has become the de facto captain with Per Mertesacker rarely playing.
