Real Madrid star Isco sparks rumours he is set to join Barcelona… due to a bag of crisps
Spanish midfielder later cleared up that he would not be joining the Galacticos' fierce rivals in the summer transfer window
REAL MADRID star Isco was forced to quickly quash rumours he is set to join Barcelona this summer... due to a bag of crisps.
The Spanish midfielder, 24, tweeted an image of himself with pals enjoying the sunny weather with a picnic.
However, in something of a social media faux pas, Isco failed to spot the bag of Barcelona-branded crisps sitting right in front of him on the table.

The midfielder - already tipped for a summer move away from the Bernabeu - logged back into his Twitter to attempt to rectify the situation, using the age-old 'it was for a friend' excuse.
Isco wrote: 'I'm not going to Barca. With the photo, I wanted to say that we wanted to eat them with potatoes. #HalaMadrid!!'
"By the way I have not tried them! They were for my friends."
The Spaniard has long been tipped for a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham seemingly the most likely destination.
However, Barcelona have also made enquiries, offering Isco a £17million bonus if he agrees to join them in 2018.
While Isco has featured regularly at Zinedine Zidane's team of superstars, his Champions League run-outs have been limited to just two games... a clear indication he is far from first choice.
Real currently sit top of the La Liga standings, two points clear of rivals Barca, with a game in hand.
