Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez eyes £10m move for highly-rated Ligue 1 star Marcus Coco
Toon may face competition from Southampton and Stoke who are also tracking him
RAFA BENITEZ has made French winger Marcus Coco his No1 target for the Premier League.
Newcastle boss Benitez attempted to land the Guingamp youngster last summer and is preparing a £10million bid to make him the first Toon signing at end of the season.
Benitez is looking at adding quality to his squad with his team on course for a return to the top-flight.
Coco, 20, will add pace and can play at full-back or winger, with his club expecting him to leave for England at the end of the season.
Southampton have also shown interest in the France Under-21 international, with boss Claude Puel an admirer from his time coaching at Nice.
And Stoke have also been tracking Coco after his breakthrough into the first-team at Guingamp two years ago.
