LIVERPOOL are weighing up a move for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to reports.
SunSport revealed in March the Arsenal midfielder is ready to quit the club.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, 23, has less than 18 months left on his current contract and has no intention of extending it.
According to , Liverpool have now joined Manchester United and City in the race for his signature.
And the Gunners' £35million valuation of the England ace will NOT put off Jurgen Klopp.
The Ox has played a bit-part role in Arsenal's disastrous season and Klopp hopes to take advantage of this.
Regular first-team football is a must for Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has his England aspirations to think about too.
Klopp has created a strong English core to his Liverpool side which he hopes will appeal to Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne and James Milner all regularly feature in the Reds' starting XI.
The report claims Liverpool will try and wangle the £35m fee down, considering Arsenal sold Robin van Persie to Manchester United for just £24m in August 2012 - while he was in the final year of his contract.
But Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has urged Oxlade-Chamberlain to sign a new contract.
He said: "I think it’s vital Alex stays at Arsenal.
“It would be a big damage to us to lose this kind of player.
“We bought him from Southampton when he was young and built him up.
“He has a good football brain and I like his mentality.”
