Morgan Schneiderlin quit watching Manchester United because it was too painful not playing in the team

MORGAN SCHNEIDERLIN says he was so sick of not playing for Manchester United he quit going to watch them play.
Schneiderlin endured a miserable 18 month spell at Old Trafford which ended with him being left out in the cold by manager Jose Mourinho.
The French midfielder is finally back doing what he loves the most after making a £20million move to Everton in Janaury.

But he admits he found the pain of being the cold shoulder at United too hard to take.
Schneiderlin said: "My routine at Manchester United would be the same as yours, I was used to playing football and then I was waking up as a spectator."I will be honest, there was one point in December when I did not go to matches any more because it was hard.
"It was painful - I couldn't go there, smile and sign autographs for fans and pretend to be happy when I was not.

"For me it was better to watch the game at home."
Schneiderlin has quickly settled at Goodison Park and his mood has lifted dramtically now he is back p-laying week-in week-out.
He added: "I remember the best thing ever was after Stoke when I had made my Everton debut.
"You walk and your calves are heavy, your quads are heavy and you feel like you need to go to and ice bath. That is the best feeling ever.
"When you are feeling great every day and you don't have any knocks or anything, is when football starts to get boring."
