Argentina defender appeared to have twisted his knee after a 50-50 tackle with an Anderlecht player
MANCHESTER UNITED defender Marcos Rojo has been taken off on a stretcher in agony following a nasty collision with an Anderlecht player.
The Argentina international had to have lengthy treatment on the field after appearing to twist his knee in a 50-50 tackle.
Boss Jose Mourinho will be fearing that he may be without the in-form player for the rest of the campaign.
The 27-year-old lasted 20 minutes before picking up his initial knee injury but was able to carry on playing.
However minutes later another collision saw Rojo go down in a heap and it became clear he was unable to continue.
To compound misery, his replacement Daley Blind played two Anderlecht players onside as they grabbed a crucial equaliser.
