Carl Jenkinson a target for Brighton after they get promoted to Premier League with Newcastle also an option for Arsenal full-back

CARL JENKINSON has been targeted by Brighton after they became promoted to the Premier League.

The Arsenal full-back has been told he can leave the Emirates in the summer and is attracting interest from the Seagulls and Championship rivals Newcastle.

The right-back has been on loan twice at West Ham and has rarely been able to secure a regular starting place in the line-up at the Emirates.

, Jenkinson will have no shortage of options when he leaves the Emirates in the summer.

Brighton's promotion to the Premier League was confirmed over the weekend after they beat Wigan 2-1.

Jenkinson has made 48 appearances for Arsenal since he first joined the club from Charlton and last played for the Gunners in 2-0 their EFL Cup defeat to Southampton in November.
