BORUSSIA DORTMUND terror attack victim Marc Bartra has received terrifying death threats after supporting Barcelona with an tweet during El Clasico.
The Spaniard's injuries in the blast must be have traumatising enough - but all the former Barca player had to do to get abused by trolls was post his support for ex-tea-mate Lionel Messi.
Bartra, 26, who signed for the German club from Barcelona last year, was hospitalised with hand injuries by broken glass after three blasts next to the team coach earlier this month before the Champions League quarter-final against Monaco.
He has been out ever since, and settled down to watch the club he joined aged 11 play Real Madrid last night - a match which Lionel Messi bossed, scoring two goals including an extra-time winner.
Bartra tweeted "D10S" - nickname of Diego Maradona, with dios in Spanish meaning God and D10S a play on that word with the number 10 in place of letters "io".
That nickname is now used to describe the godlike qualities of arguably the best player since Maradona, fellow Argentine Messi.
It prompted some vile replies in Spanish, including "I wish the bomb exploded on your face”, and “what a shame it did not end your life.”
There were also lots of support for Bartra, wishing him well, while some slammed the people abusing him - one writing: "You're so subnormal to remind him of the bomb."
