AC Milan face battle to renew Gianluigi Donnarumma’s contract as they must convince agent Mino Raiola first
The Italian giants sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli has admitted a new deal for the keeper is his priority
AC MILAN have admitted they face a struggle to keep Gianluigi Donnarumma - because they must convince Mino Raiola first.
The Italian keeper's contract is up at the end of next summer and a number of Europe's elite have been keeping an eye on the situation.
And now AC's sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli has revealed the hardest part of getting a deal done for Donnarumma, 18, will be making Raiola think it is the right move.

Mirabelli: "All we needed to do was look Donnarumma in the eyes to see if he wants to stay at Milan, and we could see that he wants to.
"But now we have also got to talk with his agent.
"We wanted to talk with him to understand how much the lad is attached to these colours.

"Milan are still an attractive club, considering that together with Real Madrid we are the club with the most titles in world football.
"Now, after we have seen what his intentions are, we will speak with his agent, but that is the most difficult part.
"I want Donnarumma to write history with this club and we agree on everything with [coach Vincenzo] Montella.
"Renewing both of their contracts is important."
Mirabelli - who arrived at the Serie A giants as part of the Chinese takeover - has made keeping Donnarumma one of his highest priorities.
But Raoila has said in the past that he will wait to see how ambitious the new owners are before his client commits to the club.
