Jose Mourinho says Manchester United defender Luke Shaw’s injury against Swansea looks serious
Much-maligned left-back looked to have hurt his ankle in just the eighth minute at Old Trafford
MANCHESTER UNITED defender Luke Shaw has hobbled off injured in the Premier League match against Swansea.
The much-maligned left-back, making a rare start for the Red Devils, looked to have hurt his ankle in just the eighth minute at Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old had to be helped off by a physio and was replaced by right-back Antonio Valencia, with no other left-backs fit.
It was just Shaw's ninth league start this term having come back from a broken leg, and then almost instantly sustaining a groin problem.
He has also seen himself underused by boss Jose Mourinho, who has criticised his fitness and endeavour numerous times.

United are fifth in the league, just one point behind Manchester City in fourth - but have an injury crisis with eight first-teamers already out, and Marouane Fellaini suspended for three games.
And they made a sluggish start against the Swans, who are in the relegation zone and fighting for their lives in 18th position.
Jose Mourinho said afterwards: "I don't know about the injuries. I think Luke Shaw's must be a big injury, because to leave the pitch after 10 minutes I am expecting a very big injury.
"At the moment, we cannot walk from the bed to the toilet and break a leg."
