WEST BROM are weighing up a move for £30million-rated William Carvalho.
Tony Pulis watched the giant Sporting Lisbon midfield man against Benfica ten days ago.
The Baggies boss wanted to sign the Portugal star last August but Sporting refused to sell.
Yet he is ready to move again for the player, who was a Euro 2016 winner and has 30-plus caps.
Carvalho, who is also being tracked by Arsenal and Liverpool, has three years on his contract.
The Baggies would need to more than double their transfer record, which is the £13million they paid Spurs for Nacer Chadli.

Pulis admits the huge sum involved required a personal check, saying: “That’s why I was up at 4am in the morning and travelled there.”
He watched Carvalho in a 1-1 draw against Benfica and then Porto’s 0-0 draw at home to Feirense.
Pulis will also battle with Watford for Crystal Palace’s Joe Ledley, 30.
