Millwall fans stage pitch invasion and clash with police following play-off draw with Scunthorpe
Lions drew 0-0 in the first-leg of their encounter but fans were snapped fighting amongst themselves
A MINORITY of Millwall fans staged a pitch invasion following their League One play-off draw against Scunthorpe.
Supporters ran onto the field at the full-time whistle as stewards and police were forced to stop them making their way towards the travelling fans.
One fan was filming himself talking to an opposition player as he walked off the field.
Others were spotted arguing with police after refusing to leave the field following the 0-0 encounter.
Millwall fans were also snapped causing trouble AMONGST THEMSELVES as two men were grappling each other as stewards struggled to separate them.
Lion's supporters should have been celebrating at the end of the contest after Lee Gregory missed the game's best chance.
He squandered a fabulous opportunity in the first half — shooting straight at keeper Joe Anyon in the 26th minute after Jed Wallace sent him clear through.
The south Londoners also went close through Wallace again and then Tony Craig.
Scunny finally got an attempt on target after an hour when Josh Morris shot hopefully, but over, from 25 yards.
