ARSENAL have reportedly brought in Josh Kroenke to sort out Mesut Ozil’s new contract.
The son of Gunners chief and majority shareholder Stan Kroenke will take over from transfer guru Dick Law, according to .
Arsene Wenger is desperate to keep Ozil at the Emirates this summer and is taking no risks when it comes to securing the German’s future.
The likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich have been linked as Ozil prepares to enter the final 12 months of his deal.
But the playmaker is believed to be holding out for a whopping £300,000-a-week – significantly more than Arsenal’s previous offer.
The report adds that Ozil’s representatives told Arsenal they would prefer negotiating with Kroenke Jnr, with the pair sharing a close relationship behind the scenes.
And Wenger will be hoping the latest move can help close one of the biggest transfer sagas of his north London career.
