Arsene Wenger is desperate to keep Ozil at the Emirates this summer and is taking no risks when it comes to securing the German’s future.

The likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich have been linked as Ozil prepares to enter the final 12 months of his deal.

But the playmaker is believed to be holding out for a whopping £300,000-a-week – significantly more than Arsenal’s previous offer.
