LIVERPOOL’S forgotten man Joe Gomez is ready to join Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth in a major deal for next season.
Top prospect Gomez has had a miserable time on Merseyside with a bad knee ligament injury and few first-team chances.
Howe wants to sign the defender for £10million with a sell-back option or take him on loan for the next campaign.
The former Charlton babe, 19, tipped as a future England cap, is seen as a right-back or centre-half by Bournemouth who have been short since Nathan Ake went back to Chelsea.
Howe has already taken wingers Jordon Ibe and Brad Smith from Anfield and is a fan of the way the club develop talent.
The Cherries also want young midfielder Ryan Kent, 20, from Liverpool — as we first revealed.
