Real Madrid need a point at Malaga to clinch La Liga title ahead of Barcelona and hosts would pocked £850k through clause in Isco deal

REAL MADRID need a point from their final match of the season at Malaga to guarantee the La Liga title.

And the hosts will have a big incentive to allow Los Blancos to claim the title.

As victory for Zinedine Zidane’s men would see Malaga pocket around £850,000, due a clause inserted in the deal which saw Isco move to the Bernabeu in 2013.

The Spaniard has not yet claimed a La Liga title with Real Madrid, but his former club will earn a nice little pay package if he does.

Los Blancos couldn’t be ending the season in better form with six wins from seven since their 3-2 defeat against Barcelona in El Clasico.

And their only reverse coming in the Champions League semi-final second leg clash with Atletico Madrid, when they were effectively already through.

Key to the hotstreak has been in the incredible performances of Isco, who has stepped up to the plate when his side have needed him most.

Real Madrid have not finished top of the pile in La Liga since 2012, but look set to extend their Spanish record of 32 titles.

Barcelona host Eibar on Sunday and a shock draw or defeat for the Catalans would hand Los Blancos the title regardless.

But a victory would mean Los Blancos need at least a point from a ground which saw Luis Enrique’s men lose 2-0.
