Gabriel Jesus’ arrival in January has put Aguero’s Etihad future in further doubt and it’s believed he could up sticks ahead of the 2018 World Cup.

claims Aguero would prefer to stay at City but will first hold talks with Guardiola to see where he fits in plans for next season.

A front-two pairing with Jesus could be an option but it seems unlikely his boss will stray from his favoured 4-3-3 formation.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in the 28-year-old, who has consistently shown he is one of the top attackers around.

SunSport also understands that Manchester United are plotting a £55million move, although the chances of City selling to their fiercest rivals are slim.
